Diabetes Mini-Workshops
Each month we offer a comprehensive class to help give diabetics the tools to help them manage their blood sugars. This free program includes a healthy breakfast, lunch and snacks and lots of good information given in a casual, easy-to-understand manner. Spouses and family members are encouraged to attend. Although there is no charge, you must pre-register. Contact: Sharon Proctor RN, CDE 912-277-2058
Diabetes Support Group
Everyone can use a little support now and then and it is certainly true with diabetics. We meet each Monday night at 7pm for good information and networking. It's always important to keep up with the newest information as diabetes management is ever-changing. Remember, you really probably only see your physician 60 minutes each year. Who do you think is managing your blood sugar the other 8765 minutes that year?
Total Joint Replacement Classes
Have knee or hip pains kept you from doing the things you love? If you have been thinking about total joint replacement, you can get all the information you need by coming to our monthly Total Joint Classes. Learning how to prepare your body, and especially your home can make your rehabilitation experience a successful one. For dates and times call Sharon Proctor at 277-2058
Toombs County Alzheimer's Caregivers' Support Group
Alzheimer's disease affects 20 million Americans. Join with others in our monthly meetings for information, networking and just plain fellowship. The group meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 7pm.
